BELIZE/GUATEMALA
WILDLIFE AND BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY EXPEDITION
Belize/Guatemala Wildlife and Bird Photography Expedition: This 7 day/6 night land-based expedition travels throughout Belize and into Tikal, Guatemala.
We visit the Howler Monkey Preserve, an Audubon Bird Preserve, and the world's only Jaguar Preserve in Cockscomb Basin, Belize to search for Jaguars at night.
In Guatemala, we explore Central America's most significant Mayan ruins at Tikal and photograph its colorful tropical wildlife. Travel is in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles with plenty of room for you and your gear. This is one of our most popular expeditions.
Knowledgeable guides assist with species identification,
wildlife photography instruction, and natural history interpretation.
Comfortable hotel stays and restaurant visits sample local flavors. A friendly family in Belize invites us in to experience a taste of
local culture.
Sightings may include Black Howler Monkey, a variety of Parrot species,
Baird's Tapir, Coatimundi, American Crocodile, Jabiru Stork, three
species of Toucans (Keel-Billed Toucan, Collared Araçari, & Emerald
Toucanet) and many more in the lush tropical rainforest!
