Wildlife Photography and Cultural Expedition
(Black Howler Monkey vocalization)
This awesome adventure includes 7 days/6 nights travel around the country of Belize and into the village of El Remate and Tikal, Guatemala to explore Central America's most significant Mayan ruins and photograph its wildlife. We travel in a comfortable and spacious air-conditioned vehicle with plenty of room for you and your gear. This is one of our most popular expeditions.
Knowledgeable guides assist with species identification, wildlife photography instruction, and natural history interpretation. This trip involves a combinaton of comfortable hotel stays and restaurant visits to sample local flavors. We also visit with and dine at the home of a friendly family in Belize to experience a taste of local culture.
Possible sightings may include Black Howler Monkey, a variety of Parrot species, Baird's Tapir, Coatimundi, American Crocodile, Jabiru Stork, & 3 species of Toucans (Keel-Billed Toucan, Collared Araçari, & Emerald Toucanet) and many more, viewable amidst the lush tropical rain forest! With extreme good fortune, Jaguar, as we visit the world's only Jaguar Preserve in Cockscomb Basin, Belize.
The trip begins and ends at the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, Belize.
