BOTSWANA Wildlife Photography Expedition Join us as we explore the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve of northwestern Botswana in search of spectacular African Wildlife to photograph. The Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, long a center of outstanding wildlife photography opportunites, provides some of the finest chances to photograph a host of African specialties. The sprawling Okavango Delta region is formed by the meandering 1430km-long Okavango River, the third largest in Southern Africa. The river eventually disappears as it is absorbed into the Kalahari Desert. Along the way, the water attracts vast numbers of wildlife including Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, and Hippos to name a few. The Moremi Game Reserve, set aside purely as a game reserve in 1963, provides an opportunity to visit a variety of habitats from wet to dry and eveything in between. Highlights here are possible sightings of Nile Crocodile, Leopards, Lions, Hippos, and Baboons, and too many more to mention. The accomodations on these trips are at long-established lodges and outpost camps, so comfort and safety are assured. Join us as we travel and photograph the great wildlife of Africa in Botswana, home of the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. The trip begins and ends at the Maun, Botswana airport (MUB).  |
