The Alaska Wildlife and Bird Photography River Expedition is a 7-day float trip on a pristine and remote Alaskan river with gourmet amenities and first-rate wildlife viewing opportunites.
This expedition offers close access to the wildlife and birds of Alaska, as we float silently through the remote wilderness in expedition grade rafts handled by expert naturalist/river guides.
Knowledgeable guides assist with species identification, wildlife photography instruction, your personalized photography curriculum and natural history interpretation.

Itinerary
7-Day Alaska
Wildlife & Bird Photography River Expedition
Day 1-6
Meet guides in Anchorage at Lake Hood Float Plane Airport for short flight to river put-in. Prepare raft gear, wilderness safety orientation, begin floating river.
Gourmet meals prepared by guides at camp and on river (lunches.)
Early evening photography instruction/critique sessions at camp. Instruction given when we encounter wildlife. Expedition grade tent accommodations.
Day 7
Early morning camp departure, Float river until early afternoon. Break gear down at takeout. Meet our pickup airplane for flight back to Anchorage, arriving around dinner time. End Expedition.
